6 months of bliss

We made it...6 month milestone! We are still happily married, and we have a happy, healthy 6 month old, and I think we will definitely do it all over again! There were moments, mostly at 3 am, when I thought the all night wake ups, witching hour, and hourly diaper changes would last forever.  But, now I miss those things. They sure aren't babies very long. 

Stats.....

Weight/Height: 17 lbs. 15 ounces, 26 1/2 inches tall

Eating Habits: Still at 5 feedings each day. In the process of weaning from breastmilk to formula. Eats a fruit and oatmeal cereal for breakfast and lunch, and a veggie for dinner. Favorites include pears, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash.

Sleeping Habits: Bedtime is about 7:30 or 8:00. Usually sleeps until 6:30...sometimes randomly wakes up earlier ready to play. Naps around 9 for an hour and about 12:30 for 1 1/2 sometimes 2 hours. Takes a cat nap on the way home from school about 4:30...just a little 30 minute.

Personality: Her nickname is 'Sweet P' for a reason. She is such a sweet girl and so loving. When she smiles, you forget about whatever is on your mind. Her whole face lights up when she sees someone she recognizes. She can get a little feisty if she gets over hungry or sleepy. She definitely doesn't want to miss anything and will try to skip a nap if you let her. She might be turning into a mommy's girl. If I am around, she wants me to hold her. If I am in the room, she won't take a bottle from anyone else. (hehe)

New Tricks: Sitting up! She is so good at it, our doctor was very impressed with her 'trunk strength'. Told us to expect her to crawl early. (Not sure how I feel about that) She is making new sounds and noises. Sounds like she is saying 'da-da' which makes Spencer like the happiest man on the planet. Also sounds like she says 'hi' and 'lala.' We are also getting close to independent bottle holding.
