Spring Break 2012

One of the many perks to being a teacher is that you get SPRING BREAK well into your adult life. It is a week off in the first warm days of the year (except this year, it was never really cold) and just gives you the tiniest taste of summer. Which is only 51 days away...in case you hadn't started your countdown yet. Can you tell I have? 

We went to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas to visit Nanny & Daddo and spend some much needed time on the lake, on the boat, on the golf course, or on the porch with a weight watchers margarita. I always love a good visit with Nanny & Daddo and I am so thankful they live close enough to be able to see Presley as frequently as they have. They are, by far, two of my favorite people for many reasons. One being that they just love livin' life. We just relaxed, ate, relaxed, played with baby girl, and ate some more. Oh, and exercised...because Daddo is all about healthy, but he is all about Texas Sheet Cake too. So, I am not too sure how that works out.  Spence, Bryan, and Daddo got in two rounds of golf and the girls got in a shopping trip, of course. There is just something about having 4 generations under one roof that makes my heart happy. It was a great week! Here's a bit of what we did in pictures.....

Last, but not least....my favorite from our 6 month photo shoot with Ms. Presley. She was so patient with mommy & such a great little model. I am in love with her innocent look,  the amazing scenery, and that delicious chair that I borrowed from Nanny's bedroom. 

In other Daigle news:

We have big changes coming soon as we get ready to temporarily move to Katy for a few months before our house is finished. That's another post though. Guess we better start packing.......
